Here’s a round up of what’s interesting on the web today
Flickroom is a new Adobe Air application that lets you browse flickr in a lightroom like user interface. It’s a curiosity but to be honest not much more. The interface is very poorly designed and it has a lot of flaws. For a start Images are scaled to fit but not anti aliased so you get a lot of scaling artifacts. In fairness though, it is still in beta.
Professional Photographer has details on a new camera strap called SUN-SNIPER-STRAP™ which is an interesting design.
Art Daily talks about a new photography project by award winning photographer Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao commissioned by the Bronx Museum of the arts to create a portrait of the city borough.
This weeks D-Town TV has some good tips for beginners on flash compensation. Great show as always.
Helios is a pretty cool App for the iPhone that calculates the path of the sun at a given day and location. It has an absolutely beautiful interface and could be useful for landscape photographers.
