I was away for a few days last week, so my list of things to do has been piling up, as has my collection of interesting websites and links, so here’s some interesting photography related miscellany for the last few days!

Rick Sammon talks about the new “Reduce Chromatic Aberration” feature in the latest version of photomatix.

Scott Kelby has announced a special collection of his three “Digital Photography Books” on his website. Incidentally my copy of volume three arrived the other day and it’s great as always. Lots of useful information in Scott’s usual writing style.

Leaked images have emerged of Panasonic’s next micro four thirds camera, which has a similar compact styling to the Olympus Pen.

Sony unveils its new “Exmor R” Sensor technology which aims to increase sensitivity by exposing the back of the sensor as opposed to the front. It looks promising.

Luminous Landscape has an interesting essay entitled “Understanding What Makes a Good Image and Learning How to Use That Knowledge”

Popular Photography has an interview with Jipsy Castillo about what it’s like to be an event photographer.

Last week saw the last episode of D-Town TV. Scott and Matt promised to return with a new Digital Photography themed show in a month or so.
