One of my favorite podcasts, Digital Photography Life returns after an extended hiatus. A big welcome back to Scott and Michael. If you haven’t heard the podcast before it’s well worth checking out.
Check out this great picture and the story behind it on National Geographic (I won’t spoil the surprise)
BBC has the story of a wedding photographer who has kept a couple waiting since 2007 for their wedding photographs.
Kodak has a series of stories from photographers as a tribute to their legendary but now discontinued Kodakchrome film. I think I only ever shot a couple of rolls of Kodakchrome in my time shooting film as it was expensive here and you had to go through a lot of hoops to get it developed in Ireland at the time, but it was a great film. I don’t think digital has ever truly captured the beauty and organic feel of Kodakchrome (or fuji velvia for that matter)
Check out this beautiful series of cross processed slide photographs of Paris. From what I can tell (by the flickr info) they seem to have been shot with the original Olympus Pen.
