It’s taken me a little while to get around to posting some of the photos I took during my trip to New York a week ago. Unfortunately on the return flight I caught the dreaded plane crud and have been feeling too rotten all week to do anything. Several lemsips later and I’ve finally begun to feel up to sitting infront of my computer again. The trip was planned as a holiday rather than a travel photo shoot, but still, I couldn’t help myself. That said, I didn’t take as much time as I normally wood taking pictures as the sunshine was so glorious and I really wanted to relax. Anyway, without further ado, and for your viewing pleasure here is a small sample of some of my favorites. Oh, and there’s more to come !

We were staying near the very pretty Madison Square Park. This lovely little park is home to a large colony of squirrels, and borders the famous Flatiron building.

We took the opportunity to go up the Empire State Building at sunset and caught some amazing views of the city as the sun was going down. Unfortunately it was jam packed with people which made it difficult to get a good spot. It was also quite windy which made holding the camera a little tricky.
